Jacquie (Pastry chef & co-owner)
Hey! We’re Jac & Jill, sisters, bakers, and co-owners of Jac & Jill’s Bakeshop. In 2022, we opened the doors to our dream bakery right here in West Rouge, the neighbourhood we grew up in. We love being part of this amazing community, and nothing makes us happier than hearing, “This is exactly what the neighbourhood needed!”
Our daily bakeshop menu features soft-baked cookies, brownies, bars, French macarons, and cakes, all handcrafted in small batches with quality ingredients. We love playing with seasonal flavours and adding a nostalgic twist inspired by our 90s childhood.

As sisters, we grew up baking together, and the kitchen was always the heart of our home. After post-secondary, we blended our backgrounds in Pastry Arts and Fine Arts to create desserts that taste just as good as they look. We started selling at farmers’ markets in 2017, then grew into artisan markets and local boutiques, slowly building a reputation for our handcrafted macarons and party cakes.

Fast forward to today, and we have been honoured with CommunityVotes Scarborough awards two years in a row, winning platinum in Cakes, Bakery, Cookies, Desserts, Ice Cream, and Pastry. We are beyond grateful for the love and support that got us here.
